So John and I have been talking about someday getting a Wii since we were engaged, but we've never really been ready to actually buy one. Until like two weeks ago when he decided that he could no longer go on living without owning a Wii. I tried to push it off as long as I could but when he started making comments to other people like "Yeah we don't want to waste the money on a Wii right now. We think it would be a lot better to save the money." I knew things were getting out of hand. Because what he was actually saying was "KRISTI doesn't want a Wii. SHE thinks we should be boring and never spend money. KRISTI IS EVIL." I can't have that. So one night he said maybe tonight we should go buy our Wii. So we did. And it's a good thing too because look how much fun he's having with it.

Our Summer!!
We've had a lot of fun this summer, and now that it's pretty much over, here are some of the awesome things that we've done. (at least the things i can remember...). Sorry the pictures are all over the place, my computer was messed up.
In June was my sweet hubby's birthday so we went on a surprise picnic, played Bocci ball, and ate brownie ice cream cake.

He wins every time....
And one day we saw a deer head in the back of a truck.
On another day I decided to make bread and cinnamon rolls for the first time ever without my mom there to help me. It was great! The bread and rolls may not have been, but I had fun trying.
And then there was more Bocci. This time it was with my family though. I still lost...
Then on July 10th came our 3 month anniversary, and you know what that means! Yep, we broke out the leftover wedding cake! And as you can see from John's reaction, it still tasted good.
One fine morning we went to the ground breaking of the Brigham City Temple. It was great. Cheryl and her kids were there, Kendra was there, and even Pres. Packer came.

The Makings of a Chaotic Monday Morning
Making your monday morning turn crazy is actually quite simple. Here's how to do it.
Start by giving your keys (the ones that you need to get into work and drive there) to your husband on friday night. Wait till about 5:47 a.m. monday morning when it's time for him to leave to ask for them back. Quickly realize he does not know where they are. Frantically begin checking every pocket, drawer, shelf, couch, etc. in the house as quickly as you can. Pray while doing this. Try to remember if he gave them back to you and if you might have put them in some obscure location. Ask if he left them in the car. Check both cars even though he already has. Pray again. Finally he will pull out his keys to give you his copy of your car key. At least that way you'll be able to drive there. Forget about getting in the building. Be overcome with relief when you realize he has found your set! Ask were he found them. He will sadly tell you he didn't find them, the ones in his hand our just his work keys. Simply tell him that no, those are in fact your keys, the ones you've been searching for. Realize that they were never lost, they were safely tucked away in your husband's pocket. Laugh. Go to work. You're probably late.
We Have a Blog!
I'm pretty sure there is a rule somewhere that married couples are required to have a blog. So as to not upset anyone, here I am giving in and starting ours. It's boring right now, but just you wait until I know what I'm doing. Soon it will be great!
oh, and I let John name it...
