Last Tuesday morning we had another ultrasound, and it was a good one. First I noticed how much bigger she looks. It's so cool seeing her go from that tiny little thing that barely showed in the first ultrasound, to seeing her take up the whole screen. As we were looking at her the doctor said that she was being very photogenic! He got some good pictures of her. He did them in 3D so when we were done with the appointment we got a pretty good look at her. The first feature I noticed was that her little nose is sort of pointed up. You know who else's nose is pointed up? Hint: not Daddy's :) But then we noticed the lips. They look huge! That's another thing she didn't get from her Daddy and especially not her Mommy...
But this is just an ultrasound. We'll just have to wait and see... I hate when people try to determine how a baby will look from ultrasound pictures....or even from the first couple months of life. Maybe my feelings will change when I actually see her. (Obviously I was open to analyzing these pictures, so I must not be as anti as I think I am).
Also, In my second ultrasound I was told she has some attitude. I fully believe this after months of her kicking and beating me from the inside, until someone else wants to feel her kick, and then she suddenly decides she's too tired to move... Well anyway, now that I have been told my baby has attitude, is photogenic, and has a stuck up nose, should I be a little worried?? That might not be the most delightful combination.... What did I get myself into? I'm just joking, I'm sure my baby will be wonderful!! And I am so excited to have her!
